Don’t Miss the Boat – Laying Up Supper 2025
Word on the pontoon is that the galley’s gearing up for one of the best nights of the WBYC calendar — the Laying Up Supper on Saturday 1st November at 7pm in the clubhouse.
Expect a proper feast: Beef Bourguignon slow-cooked to perfection (vegetarian option available upon request), a few glasses raised in good company, and live music to keep things lively once the plates are cleared. All that for just £15 — or, if you’re only in it for the tunes and the tipples, a £5 music-only ticket will get you through the door.
The cut-off date for bookings is Friday 24th October. After that, the hatches are closed and the kitchen crew will pretend they don’t know you.

It’s a members-only night — a chance to swap sailing stories, relive the season, and toast another year of surviving the elements (and each other).
