ππ π Race Results β Who Needs to Win to Be a Champion? π
You donβt have to win a race to be the champion β just ask Mandala! πͺ Sheβs extended her series lead despite finishing behind most of the fleet on the water β proof that slow and steady (and smart) really does win the race π’β΅
Five brave boats took on the classic Weston Bay cocktail of 20+ knot winds and a boisterous sea state for what turned into a very lively trial of our proposed regatta course. For those who missed it, here’s the rollercoaster route:
Start at Mark E β‘οΈ A β‘οΈ back to E β‘οΈ B β‘οΈ back to E β‘οΈ C β‘οΈ back to E β‘οΈ D β‘οΈ and (you guessed it) finish at E.
Feedback’s been noted β a few tweaks incoming on mark directions β but overall, the course worked well. All it needs now is a proper name!
π‘ The Commodoreβs Starfish?
π‘ Old MacDonald (EAEA-oh)?
π‘ The Last Roundabout in Weston?
Head over to our facebook page and drop your suggestions in the comments β the sillier the better, obviously.
