⛵ The Copperas Rock Mark Two Tide Race is BACK! 🌊
After a two-year hiatus, Weston Bay Yacht Club is thrilled to announce the return of the Copperas Rock Mark Two Tide Race!
On Sunday 27th April, the race fleet will be leaving Weston-super-Mare at 07:00, heading down channel to round the Copperas Rock buoy, before returning on the flood tide to finish at Juicy.
This is the same tide the cruising fleet will be using to head down to Padstow, so the big question is—how many boats can we muster? 10? 15? More? Let’s make it a race to remember!
Points will be awarded for starting, finishing, making it to Copperas, and even for using the motor (because let’s be honest, some of us might need it!). Bonus points up for grabs for anyone flying a spinnaker, gennaker, twin headsail, asymmetric, blooper, or any other downwind sail—so get those sails ready!
